I’ve noticed that I start books with a lot of excitement, but after a few days I slowly stop picking them up. Martin wrote:“A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies. The man who never reads lives only one.” — George R.R. MartinThis quote really resonates with me — I do believe reading opens up whole new worlds. And yet, even knowing this, I still catch myself reaching for my phone instead of a book.
